Rushmore Business School had the honour to welcome and host a guest lecture by the former DPP and Senior Counsel, Me Satyajit Boolell from Temple Group last Thursday on the Constitution and the Supreme Court of Mauritius.
Students and lecturers, including exchange students on the LLB course from Leeds Beckett University, currently studying at Rushmore Business School, were able to interact and engage with Mr Boolell, who provided some key insights on the Constitution, its evolution and the role of the Supreme Court as a guardian of the Constitution compared to other jurisdictions.
This was one of a series of guest lectures, focused on enhancing the student learning experience as part of the law degree at Rushmore Business School, which is awarded in collaboration with Leeds Beckett University. It offers students the opportunity to complete two Mauritian Law modules as well as the possibility of undertaking an exchange semester on Campus at Leeds Law School.
