Learning and Teaching
Our International PGCE (iPGCE) is delivered online in English, through a series of videos, readings, webinars and online tutorials. There will be regular study tasks and group input tasks.
You’ll be able to try out and evaluate different pedagogical approaches, adapting them to your own practice and environment, as you develop as an informed, highly reflective teacher.
As you engage with the course online, you’ll be able to connect and share with your tutors and fellow students.
Students are organised into groups, supported by a Study Tutor to share good practice and ideas, and to maintain the new professional connections and friendships you make through the course.
Throughout the course you’ll have access to academic and technical support. You’ll also receive feedback, on your teaching from a UWE Bristol tutor.

Successful completion of the course at level 7 gives you 60 credits towards a Master’s.
Assessment
You can expect to be assessed through portfolios, reports, presentations and reflection
exercises. We’ll give plenty of support in preparing for assignments.

Your course materials and reading will all be available to you online. You’ll log onto our virtual learning environment to watch videos and webinars, take part in discussion activities and access your study tasks. Technical and academic support will be available throughout the course.
