Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, it is expected that graduates will:

Knowledge and understanding is acquired through web lectures, presentations; reading and online and face to face workshops to generate discussion, reflection and exchange of ideas; guided reading, supported self-study and independent study to enable you to engage with relevant and appropriate debates; individual tutorials to support development of understanding; ICT to facilitate exchange of ideas and access to specific resources and activities.
  3. Distinguish between the short and long term benefits of adopting various contractual conditions in various types of construction projects
  4. Develop communication skills to plan the management of supply chains

This programme is distance learning and tutorials are delivered in Mauritius by lecturers from the University of Salford (UK) through blocks.

Entrance Requirements

Applicants must satisfy the following:

  1. A minimum of a second class undergraduate honours degree in a similar discipline
  2. or

  3. A minimum of a second class undergraduate honours degree in a non-cognate discipline and significant relevant work experience within project management areas of the construction industry
  4. A recognized professional qualification in a similar discipline


Assessment

Modules are assessed mainly by Coursework.
