BSc (Hons) Aviation Management is a specialised business degree that seeks to provide a highly industry-immersive experience. This course is about the running of airlines and airports. It aims to provide a good understanding of the aviation industry, the rationales of airport operation management, airport planning and designs, airline yield management, airline fleet planning, route management and scheduling, passenger and cargo operations, air transport safety, security and emergency planning, aircraft maintenance, sustainable development of air transport, as well as the strategies for airlines and airport operators at corporate and business levels. It is designed for students who wish to study a wide range of issues within the aviation industry with a view to a career in some aspect of the management of airlines, airports, or air transport services.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this course, it is expected that students will be able to:

    1. Study the constituent activities and current practice of the aviation industry, their management and the changing external environment in which they operate;


    1. Assimilate engineering methods and their application to the analysis, design, and implementation of solutions to problems in the industry;

Entrance Requirements

| HSC: 3 A-Levels and 1 AS Level or 2 A-Levels and 2 AS Levels or
